Midnight Movie (Ellie Jordan, Ghost Trapper #14) by J.L Bryan

A refurbished drive in has found a new life after being dormant for years. With help of a young family, it gives it it's much needed facelift and modern vision moving forward. Unfortunately, not everything has been left in past as it's been haunting the projection room, screen tower, and parked customers. Ellie Jordan and her team are on the case, especially when she realizes it is impacting Daisy, the daughter of the owners. Between no obvious murders or agendas, they have to figure out what is causing these hauntings and get down to the bottom of it before the show begins.

With every new installment I feel myself absolutely loving the characters more and more. The new places, faces, and haunts that are so sight specific and thought provoking. This one was no exception! There was a whole lore and in-depth storyline that truly felt like it could have been something that happened in Hollywood long ago. It truly felt like a story within a story, if that makes sense. Several ghosts made an appearance in this book, and they all got their comeuppance or made peace and moved on. Nothing went unsolved but the climax of this book was wild! Unable to put it down, between the action sequences, the sassy dynamic of the group, and the overall storyline...it was incredible. I've said this many times already, but I cannot wait for the next in the series to be released.

Finna by Nino Cipri (LitenVerse #1)

" It explores queer relationships and queer feelings, capitalism, and accountability, labor and love, all with a bouncing sense of humor and a commitment to the strange."     This delightful multiverse sci-fi story is absolutely incredible. This universe there is a knock off Ikea prone to spontaneous wormholes and customers get lost or eaten in. Which is exactly what happens, except it is up to two employees who had just broken up to go inside the wormhole and track down the customer or the closest thing to them.     This was such a wonderful read and perfect for finishing in one sitting. I wish there was more in this entire universe, it just seems so much fun, and that the possibilities are endless. I've passed this book to those I love, and I'm so excited for them to get to experience this universe!
