Hands down my favorite book in the series thus far! After narrowly escaping their death at the Chateau le Blanche at the hands of the Dames Blanches. The gang is once again on the run from the coven, entire kingdom of Cesarine, and the church. In order to reach their goal of defeating Morgane, they must acquire alliances with other groups within the magical kingdom. Which means they have to separate into groups in order to accomplish this task, leaving them more vulnerable and Reid and Lou apart.
